About the YMCA

For 150 years, the YMCA of the Triangle has been providing facilities, programs and services that build healthy spirits, minds and bodies for all.

Many people think of the YMCA as a building, but it is so much more. In fact, more than half of all participants take part in YMCA programs outside our facilities. Program sites include schools, churches, community centers, parks and many others.

The YMCA of the Triangle includes the following branches and facilities:

  • A.E. Finley YMCA
  • Banks D. Kerr Family YMCA
  • Cary Family YMCA
  • Downtown Durham YMCA
  • John M. Alexander Family YMCA
  • Johnston County YMCA
  • Kraft Family YMCA
  • Lakewood YMCA
  • Lee County YMCA
  • YMCA of Garner
  • YMCA at The Factory
  • YMCA Wellness Center at American Tobacco Historic District
  • Camp Kanata, Wake Forest
  • Camp Sea Gull, Arapahoe
  • Camp Seafarer, Arapahoe

The YMCA of the Triangle offers so much!

  • Family members can spend quality time having fun, learning and strengthening family ties.
  • Children can make new friends and develop skills, while learning the values of faith in God, caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
  • Through YMCA health and wellness programs, participants of all ages can grow in spirit, mind and body – regardless of fitness or skill level.
