The WeBuildPeople program raises funds for families who can’t otherwise fully afford YMCA programs and services. It focuses specifically on providing children and teens with safe outlets, positive role models and opportunities to achieve their full potential.
And it helps us realize the YMCA of the Triangle’s vision: To build caring communities that create opportunities for life-changing relationships.
Story by story, person by person, family by family, WeBuildPeople connects us all. Every day we touch the lives of people who need our help.

I help with WeBuildPeople because of what the Y has done for my kids and my family. Everyone should be able to enjoy the Y; it has so much to offer us. The YMCA provides a great place for kids to land."
Each contribution provides crucial support, hope and opportunity for people who otherwise couldn’t afford to be part of the YMCA family. Every dollar you add truly makes a difference, because 100 percent of the funds raised go directly to outreach programs right here in our community.

Making a Gift of Stock
If you would like to make a gift of stock, please download this form and follow the instructions for transferring the stock to the YMCA of the Triangle. Gifts of stock can be made as an outright gift to our annual, capital or endowment campaigns, or to fulfill a pledge. There are certain tax advantages of transferring stock, especially appreciated stock. Please consult your tax advisor for details.
