Kraft Family Y: Zombie Dash and Fall Festival

Fall Festival

4:30 - 7 p.m. Activity Shelter

B.Y.O.P.! Bring your own pumpkin to decorate at our activity shelter with our provided stickers and paint. Visit the spooky bus and join in field games with us! At 5:30 p.m. we will have a short Kids' Dash across the field for a prize. Costumes are encouraged!

Zombie Dash

Race begins at 6 p.m. Zombies should arrive at 5:45 p.m.
All runners and zombies should register for this free race.

What is a Zombie Dash?

Humans try to avoid having their flag (waist flag like in flag football) taken by a zombie during the run. Runners who make it safely through the run have survived the zombies. Zombies try to “capture” as many flags as possible during the race.

Prizes will be awarded for:
•    First runner back with lifeline (flag) still attached
•    Zombie with the most lifelines (flags) taken
•    Best Costumes

This race is meant for runners, walkers and families. Some zombies run, so watch out!

Sign up online.

Volunteers

Volunteers are also needed to hold this event. We are in need of parking lot attendants, craft table and sensory bucket helpers, pumpkin party volunteers, spooky bus decorators, haunts and attendants, inflatable and field game attendants, a set up crew and popcorn machine operators. This is a great opportunity for teens and adults to serve their community while joining in the fun!

For more information on volunteering, contact Helen Rentz and visit Volunteer Matters to register.
