Small Group Training

Small Group Training Sessions are led by a certified personal trainer and each session focuses on a specialized format such as strength training, endurance, or core. Participants will use ropes, kettlebells, bars, TRX equipment and more encouraging individual progression and skill development.

A variety of classes and times are offered throughout the Association.

Cardio Strength Training for Men

Learn how to create workouts to help maximize training time and increase overall strength and cardio endurance results. Each session focuses on specific piece of equipment such as barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells or medicine balls to create a dynamic cardio-strength workout for men.

Les Mills Strength Development

Build strength in phases based on strength and conditioning science.  If you want to get stronger, LES MILLS STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT™ is a sequence of 12 x 45-minute progressive strength workouts. Whether new to lifting or a seasoned pro, LES MILLS STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT will build muscle, improve technique, and grow your confidence so you can train more powerfully in the studio and on the gym floor. Ages 16 & up.

Intro to Barbell Lifting

This 4-week small group training will introduce basic barbell lifts with proper technique. This class is led by a Nationally Certified Personal Trainer, Lindsay Pastor and uses the Southeast Raleigh Olympic Lifting floor space and squat rack.

Strength, Agility and Quickness (SAQ)

Strength, Agility and Quickness (SAQ), for ages 11 - 17 years, focuses on helping participants to become better, stronger athletes. This training is full of drills and exercises. This is a free, ongoing training program designed to help athletes achieve their fitness goals.

Women's Barbell Club

These training sessions break down the various lifts in the weight room. This small group training meets once per week in Studio X and is for those with previous lifting experience.
