Small Group Training Sessions

Small Group Training Sessions are led by a certified personal trainer and each session focuses on a specialized format such as strength training, endurance, or core. Participants will use ropes, kettlebells, bars, TRX equipment and more encouraging individual progression and skill development.

A variety of classes and times are offered throughout the Association.
 

Women on Weights

W.O.W. is a five-week training program designed by women for women. This class is led by a certified personal trainer that teaches proper technique, safety and etiquette for weight training. Small class sizes provide one-on-one attention and a comfortable environment for participants to learn at their own pace.

Intro to Boxing 

Intro to Boxing, a five-week training program, will teach you basic balance and foot work. There will be punching demonstrations and partner practice. There will be a no contact. Gloves are required to participate and hand wraps are recommended.

The instructor, Zach Steele, has 3 black belts and 20+ years of experience.

Strength, Agility and Quickness (SAQ)

Strength, Agility and Quickness (SAQ), for high school students that are focused on becoming better, stronger athletes, is a training that is full of drills and exercises. This training is designed to help athletes achieve their fitness goals. SAQ is held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4 - 5 p.m. This is a free, ongoing training program that is held at the Northwest Cary YMCA.
