USA Basketball will host youth basketball clinics at the Downtown Durham YMCA on Friday, May 15. The on-court clinics will focus on fundamental skills in a fun environment for players of all levels and abilities.
The event is curated for local youth ages 6-17, with individual clinics divided by age. Throughout the evening, participants will join USA Basketball licensed coaches for 50-minute sessions that consist of introductions, warmups and drill stations (dribbling, passing, shooting, layups, footwork, etc.). Each participant will receive a USA Basketball t-shirt.
Registration for the May clinics will be open to the public while capacity permits:
- Ages 6 - 9: 5 - 5:50 p.m.
- Ages 10 - 13: 6 - 6:50 p.m.
- Ages 14 - 17: 7 - 7:50 p.m.
