Finley Day Camp

Summer 2025

YMCA traditional Summer Day Camps are packed with activities, games and fun. Campers spend the day swimming, creating crafts and art, playing sports like kickball, pickup basketball, and soccer and playing games like gaga ball and capture the flag. Campers spend time inside and outside during the day depending on the weather and activity. Read more about a typical day at YMCA Day Camp.

All campers are encouraged to try everything, to do their best and are led by a team of YMCA youth staff and counselors.

Our campers are grouped into Rising K, Risings Grades 1 - 2, Rising Grades 3 - 5 and Rising Grades 6 - 8. Activities are tailored to each age group.

FDC Specifics

Finley Day Camp operates mostly outdoors, utilizing shady spaces often. We swim in the indoor pool daily and arrange indoor space in cases of extreme weather.

We will hold Family Nights for campers registered for certain weeks of camp. Campers must be checked out from camp by 6 p.m. and may return with their families to Family Night at 6:30 p.m. See below for our 2025 Family Nights:

• Thursday, July 10, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Family Pool Party at the outdoor pool
• Thursday, August 7, 6:30 - 8 p.m. Finley Day Camp's Got Talent
  • Each huddle will perform an act that they have rehearsed throughout the week. Campers may also audition for group or solo acts.
