We are so excited to be back in person for YAG Conference this year. One aspect of the conference that was really hard to emulate virtually was the social events! So we're really looking forward to seeing everyone in person for these fun evening activities.
Friday Fun Night's event theme is "Cowboys and Aliens." Gather your best alien or cowboy attire - from cowboy boots and hats to alien sweatshirts and antennas, this is a casual event. Jeans are allowed! Have some fun with your costume and you might show up on our YAG Insta!
On Saturday night, the Governor's Gala theme is "Masquerade." This gala is more formal. When looking for clothes for this event, think of the attire one would wear to homecoming. Heels or dress slacks are welcome. Ties or bowties are encouraged for this event. Do not forget to add a masquerade flair to your outfits, such as masks or other accessories. Look for creative masks representing you and be prepared for the best mask contest.
Remember it's never too early to start looking for outfits to add to your Youth and Government suitcase. We are looking forward to seeing you all in your outfits!
In the past, Friday Fun Night has included fun events such as poker, bouncy houses, guest speakers, and photobooths. This year, it is anyone’s guess! Get ready for whatever Friday fun surprises may be in store!
