Parking Advisories
Please note temporary disruptions to parking on the following days:
- Thursday, Jan. 29: Ribbon-cutting for the Alexander Jones Wright YMCA Youth Center. Expect heavier traffic and parking from 10 a.m. - noon for the 11 a.m. event.
- Friday, Jan. 30: Pending favorable weather conditions, the top section of parking lot closest to the building will be closed for the installation of the new pool HVAC. Temporary handicap parking spots will be set up in other areas of the parking lot.
Completed Projects
Over the past several weeks, the Alexander Family YMCA team has been focused on completing a number of important facility projects and repairs. We appreciate your patience as we worked through these updates and are pleased to share the latest completed projects.
Pool Heater: Repairs are complete, and the pool heater is fully operational. Water temperatures have returned to normal.
Elevator: The elevator is back in service following required repairs.
Men’s Sauna: Repairs have been completed, and the sauna is open and available for use.
Studios & Kid Zone: Renovations are complete, and both areas are fully reopened with refreshed spaces.
Parking & Construction: With the new YMCA Youth Center now open, parking availability has improved. The youth annex is active with programs for kids and teens, classes and community events.
Upcoming Projects
Pool HVAC System: The heating and air conditioning unit for the indoor pool area will be replaced beginning Friday, Jan. 30. While the system is down, temporary heaters will be placed on the pool deck.
Men’s Steam Room: Currently closed due to an electrical issue. Repairs are underway, and the facility is taking a cautious approach to ensure safety and a lasting solution.
