April Weekly Wellness App Challenges

In our continuing effort to keep you active and moving, even when you aren't visiting the Y, we're launching 4 new weekly wellness challenges in our mobile app in the Months of April into early May! Each of the challenges is free to enter and great for the entire family to take part in. 

April 6 - 12: Wanna Get Away Distance Challenge
Get up & move every day. Go for a walk or run & track your distance. You’re aiming for the most miles this week. Be sure to practice social distancing, & see how far you can go!

April 13 - 19: There's No Time Like the Present Challenge
See how many minutes of exercise you can log in one week as a family. Even if you’re around the house, you can still get up and get moving together - get everyone involved! The goal is at least 150 minutes of exercise for the week. 

April 20 - 26: Virtual Duathlon Week
Combine your mileage walking/running this week with your distance on your bike or stationary bike! No bike? Combine the distance you run or walk with the distance your kids bike!

May 2: YMCA Virtual 5K
Be a part of our first-ever Virtual 5K! Get the entire family out for a 3.1-mile walk/run together, then log your race! How many virtual finishers can we get?

Getting started is easy! Just download our YMCA Mobile App. Create a user account, choose your branch, then tap on the "Challenges" icon. Sign up for one or all four of our challenges. That's it! You're in! We can't wait to (virtually) see you surpass those goals!
