Building People and Communities
Beth and Buck are longtime YMCA champions because they've seen how the Y builds people and community. They became Y members when they first moved to the Triangle in the early 90s, and their children participated in many Y programs while growing up.

“We were fortunate that we could do all of those programs and with We Build People we know we can help other families and children have those experiences,” said Beth. “It’s amazing how many in our community don’t know what the Y is doing, so we feel it is our personal mission to tell about the Y.”
Beth and Buck believe their involvement as Annual Campaign volunteers is the perfect way to impact lives in their community.
“We hope the Annual We Build People Campaign will continue to address the needs of the community and meet those needs,” said Buck. “If you don’t believe what the Y can do, I’ll take you to a camp and show you.”
"One word I would associate with the We Build People campaign is - lifechanging," said Beth.
