Completion of the local Duke Energy infrastructure work is scheduled for Saturday, July 20. As a result, the YMCA at Meadowmont pools will be closed on Saturday, July 20.
Because this project-related power outage impacts not just the Y, but also neighboring residential properties, crews are doing their best to keep this outage contained to a single day. To our knowledge, no additional work is expected that would impact our operations beyond July 20.
As a reminder, Y members have access to all YMCA of the Triangle locations, including the indoor pool at the Chapel Hill - Carrboro YMCA (980 MLK Jr. Blvd., Chapel Hill) and outdoor pool at the Hope Valley Farms YMCA (4818 S. Roxboro St., Durham).
Schedules for those pools and others can be found in the “Additional Schedules” tile on our YMCA of the Triangle mobile app and at YMCATriangle.org.
