As we see more coverage of the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, it's clear that the impact on our neighbors in the western part of the state is greater than we initially realized. Communities have been hit hard, and many are in urgent need of assistance.
In response, we at the YMCA of the Triangle are collecting essential items to help those affected. We invite you to view the list of requested donations below and bring them to the lobbies of our branches by Thursday, October 10. These items will provide immediate relief to families in need.
Our team will coordinate delivery efforts with other YMCAs across the state, as well as relief agencies to ensure that these donations reach those who need the support.
We invite all members of our Y community to join us in this effort. The road to recovery is long, but together, we can make a difference. Every donation, big or small, will make a difference for those facing immense challenges.
