As Madilyn Peeples says, “We are the voices that will form the future.” Peeples is a dedicated junior at West Carteret High School with a passion for serving her community. She volunteers at her local hospital, the Boys & Girls Club, and she founded a nonprofit called Backpacks for Change. These experiences helped her grow as a person and develop leadership skills that she brings to YAG.
After passing a first-year bill focused on education and now serving as a floor leader, Peeples believes challenging yourself is one of the most important things you can do. As your Speaker of the House, Peeples wants every delegate to have the power to create real change. Her goal is to inspire others to achieve more through YAG through advocacy.
