Getting your rising kindergartener ready to start a full-day school is no easy task during the best circumstances. And with today's concerns, it's even harder.
The YMCA is here to help with the YMCA Ready4School program. It's an online preparation for kindergarten program taught by YMCA staff and leaders.
Each 45-minute Zoom session includes pre-reading and pre-writing skill development, listening to books, math activities, science experiments, songs and dancing.
"I was honestly surprised how engaged my child was with the lesson," said parent, Brooks Emory. "There was a nice blend of activities and my child stayed interested throughout the entire lesson."

Cost
$60 (M), $75 (PP)
Each session will use Zoom and will require your child to have access to a computer with a speaker and microphone.
