YMCA Day of Giving

YMCA Day of Giving: Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025

The YMCA Day of Giving is a 24-hour giving challenge designed to add new donors, engage Y members and share our organization’s culture of philanthropy through individual, grassroots outreach efforts. At the mid-point of the 2025 Annual Campaign, our goals are to raise funds for the community through individual gifts and by cultivating new donors.

Before the Challenge

During Challenge

  • Make your gift
  • Contact as many donors as possible on your assigned list and/or prior donors
  • Utilize phone calls, texts, emails and Classy to make the ask
  • Access digital assets and templates needed to make the ask
  • Like, share and comment on YMCA social media content as it is posted on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn

After Challenge

  • Thank your donors
  • The Y will send a thank you video to all donors
  • Evaluate what donors we still need to contact and/or follow up with throughout the remainder of the Annual Campaign
  • Start a list of things that went well and opportunities for future improvement
