Finley Welcoming Week

Celebrate Welcoming Week, Sept. 10 – 19! This nationwide annual event brings communities together to promote cross-cultural understanding and highlight the benefits of inclusion. Join us in building connections and creating welcoming spaces where everyone belongs.

Finley Happenings:

• Recipe Collection: We are collecting favorite recipes from around the world. Recipe cards can be picked up at the Welcome Center starting now.
• Zumba Around the World (Sept. 12, 11:45 a.m. - 1 p.m.): Join us for a dance party inspired by music from around the world. Adult will sign up in the app, but children are welcome to join.
• Learn to Play Mahjong (Sept. 15, 6 - 7:30 p.m. and Sept. 16, 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.): Members 18+ can join one of our introductory classes to learn to play the popular game. Spaces are limited, and you must sign up at the Welcome Center.
• Family Movie Night in the Cooler (Sept. 19, 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.): Grab your friends and join us for a family-friendly movie night at our outdoor shelter, the Cooler. Please bring chairs and/or blankets to sit on.
