MURPH Challenge at the Poole Y

Join us for a special Memorial Day workout at 9 a.m. at the Poole Family YMCA.

The Murph Challenge was created in 2014 in honor of Navy Lt. Michael Murphy, a SEAL who died in Afghanistan in 2005 in a battle with the Taliban. Lt. Murphy was awarded the U.S. military's highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, for his actions during the War in Afghanistan. He was the first member of the U.S. Navy to receive the award since the Vietnam War.

Murphy created the workout that the challenge is now known for. On Memorial Day we will crush this workout in honor of Lt. Murphy and all of the brave souls who have fought to protect this country. Tango Mike.

This workout includes:

1-mile run
100 pull-ups
200 pushups
300 squats
