Parking Lot Resurfacing

The Hope Valley Farms YMCA's upper parking lot loop and entry/exit from Roxboro Street are scheduled for repaving and lining the week of September 28. The branch and the programs that it hosts will remain open throughout this project.

The timeline ultimately will depend on upcoming weather conditions.

Current plans:

• Work begins ~8 a.m. on Mon., Sept. 28
• Project is completed by Fri., Oct. 2
• Paving will be divided into three phases - the entrance lane, exit lane and parking loop. (The portion of the parking lot nearest the pool and tennis courts is scheduled to be similarly resurfaced in 2027.)

Considerations:

• Paving contractors will facilitate traffic while either the lane of the entry/exit are affected. 
• YMCA After School Rides Out will be rerouted while the upper loop is unavailable.
• Playground access should not be interrupted.
• We ask that all drivers and pedestrians proceed with caution and patience while our normal traffic patterns are modified.
