Pop Up Breathwork and Mindful Meditation Classes

May is Mental Health Awareness Month

At the SER Y we are offering some "Mental Fitness" classes on our group fitness class schedule. These "pop up" classes will each be 15 minutes. Reserve your spot on the YMCA App in the same way you'd sign up for a traditional group fitness classes.  

Breathwork

Breathwork offers an opportunity to explore the power of your breath to manage stress and enhance overall well-being. Through consciously controlling your breath, you’ll gain/learn tools that influence your mental, emotional, and physical state.

Mindful Meditation

Mindful meditation is an evidence-based tool for enhancing focus, reducing stress and promoting emotional well-being. Depending on the duration of the class, practices may include: sustaining concentration/focus, mindful movement and/or guided relaxation.

Schedule

Sundays, 2:30 - 2:45 p.m. Mindful Meditation

Wednesdays, 12:20 - 12:35 p.m. Breathwork

Fridays, 8:15 - 8:30 a.m. Breathwork
