PORCH Collection Day

PORCH Pittsboro at Vineyards at Chatham Park's first collection is November 1!

We are excited to offer a pick up location at the Chatham Park YMCA through the PORCH Pittsboro program! The first collection is on Sunday, November 1. PORCH is simple: you leave nonperishable food on your porch (in this case, at the YMCA!), and it will be picked up and delivered to CORA, our local food pantry.

How it works:

• Place your donations in the box at the Y by 3 p.m. in time for pick up.
• They'll be delivered to CORA first thing Monday morning, November 2.

CORA’s Most Needed Foods for November:

• Rice
• Mashed potatoes
• Boxed stuffing
• Cornbread mix
• Canned fruit
• Canned vegetables
• Pie, cookie and brownie mix
• Spices

These are the foods that turn a meal into something extra special during the holiday season. Your monthly collections mean families can choose the dishes that feel like home at their own tables.
