Please consider taking a few minutes of your day on Friday, December 6 for an American Red Cross Sickle Cell Blood Drive.
The sickle cell trait primarily affects African Americans, creating a critical need for compatible blood donors. Increasing donations from all ethnic groups is vital to help the American Red Cross find rare blood types for patients of diverse backgrounds.
African American donors will automatically have their blood tested for the sickle cell trait, and all donors receive a $20 Amazon e-gift card.
