Self-Care Sunday
Finding Strength, Power and Resilience through Racial Trauma
How do we empower ourselves and remain resilient in the face of trauma? The ongoing consequences of racial inequalities, health disparities and the wealth gap continuously affect communities of color mentally and physically.
Find your sense of empowerment with movement and meditation through this self-care experience. We will offer several 25-minute workshops. Participants are welcome to attend one workshop stay for the full self-care experience. There will also be a raffle with various self-care items.
You are encouraged to bring a friend, co-worker or family member! This opportunity is open to Members and Non-Members ages 16 and older at NO COST.
