Strive for 25

Swim, bike, walk and/or run your way to health as we kick off 2025!

Your Durham YMCAs are challenging you to push right through any New Year's slump. Keep coming, keep tallying miles throughout January and let's get to 25 together.

  1. Sign up online or with our welcome desk staff. 
  2. Claim a tracking box. 
  3. Get moving!

Potential STRIVE Strategies:

  • Use the treadmill
  • Walk/run the indoor track at the Downtown Durham YMCA (14 laps = 1 mile)
  • Walk in your neighborhood
  • Swim (33 laps or 66 lengths = 1 mile)
  • Use a standing or seated elliptical trainer
  • Use a recumbent, upright or cycle bike
