May 16: Duke Gardens and Chapel Tour 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. Pull out your cameras, and get ready for a beautiful day as we walk around Duke Gardens, tour Duke Chapel and end the day with lunch (TBD). Lunch will be self-pay. Meet in the Northwest Cary Y lobby at 9 a.m. to the board the bus.
- Duke Gardens: Enjoy a stroll of the beautiful Sarah P. Duke Gardens. Enjoy their core values of beauty, excellence, inspiration, integrity, sustainability and inclusiveness. Sarah P. Duke Gardens creates and nurtures an environment in the heart of Duke University for learning, inspiration and enjoyment through excellence in horticulture and community engagement.
- Duke Chapel Tour: As we tour Duke Chapel, we will learn about its history, architecture and traditions. The Chapel, in partnership with the Division of Student Affairs, convenes, supports and advocates for all of the recognized Religious Life groups on campus that serve students, including Buddhist, Catholic, Hindu, Jewish, Mormon, Muslim and Protestant organizations and groups. Chapel programs provide students with opportunities to learn about other faiths as they explore their own.
- Lunch: We will end the day with lunch (TBD). The bus will arrive at the Y by 2pm.
