THRIVE: Water Reclamation Plant Tour
November 13 - Western Wake Regional Water Reclamation Plant Tour and Lunch
Join us for this guided tour to learn about the important role the facility plays in recycling water, preventing illness, creating nutrient-rich fertilizer, protecting our waterways and creating renewable energy sources. The water reclamation plant is located in New Hill. We will carpool from the Kraft Family YMCA. The walking tour is 2 miles, round trip, walking on pavement, navigating some stairs and weather-dependent. No cost. Lunch is self-pay. Sign up online or at the Kraft Family Y Front Desk in advance to help us prepare.
