Tools4Schools Supply Drive
All Wake County YMCA Locations

Help set Wake County students and teachers up for success this school year.
Each summer, WakeEd’s Tools4Schools program provides free classroom supplies to nearly 11,000 Wake County Public School teachers, ensuring students across our community have the resources they need to learn and thrive.
Our YMCAs are proud to partner once again as official donation sites. From July 6 - Aug. 21, you can make a difference by dropping off new, unused school supplies at any Wake County Y location.
Simply look for the large collection bins in our lobby areas and contribute items such as notebooks, pencils, markers, folders and other essential classroom supplies. The most-requested items are listed below or review the full wishlist.
Your donations go directly to local educators. Later this summer, Wake County Public School teachers will be invited to “shop” at the WakeEd Tools4Schools store, selecting the supplies they need to prepare their classrooms for the year ahead—at no cost to them.
Join us in supporting our teachers and empowering students across Wake County.
