Pool Resurfacing: Aug. 24 - Sept. 20
Our Main Pool and Pool House will be closed for replastering Aug. 24 - Sept. 20. The Oasis Pool and bathrooms will remain open. Park in the front, lower parking lot and follow the sidewalk to access the Oasis Pool. If a swim band check is required, members will be sent to the main facility welcome desk to confirm. Pickleball check in will be at the main facility welcome desk. Check our website or the Y app for Lap Swim and Family Swim hours in the Oasis Pool Aug. 24 - Sept. 20.
Floor Refinishing: Sept. 9 - 13
The following spaces will be closed for floor refinishing Sept. 9 - 13 as we work to maintain our facility to the optimal quality our members expect. We look forward to opening these spaces with a new shine on Sept. 14!

Pickleball Court Repair: Sept. 8 - 11
Pickleball court patch repair will begin September 8 and end Sept. 11, weather permitting. Patch work will take 4 days of good weather days to complete. We look forward to reopening tip-top courts as soon as possible. During our pool resurfacing project Aug. 24 - Sept. 20, pickleball players should check in at our main facility welcome desk for their wrist band as the pool house will be closed. Thank you!
Steam Room Update: Aug. 3, 2026
At the Taylor Family YMCA, we continually evaluate our facilities to ensure we provide safe, welcoming and sustainable spaces that best serve our members and our community. After careful consideration, we have made the decision to permanently close the steam rooms at the Taylor Family YMCA.
Over time, the steam rooms have become increasingly costly and challenging to maintain. Despite multiple repairs and ongoing efforts to keep them operational, recurring mechanical issues have made it difficult to provide the consistent, reliable experience our members expect.
As we look ahead, we believe it is important to invest our resources where they will have the greatest impact on our members and support the long-term sustainability of our facility.
Plans for the former steam room space have not yet been finalized. We are thoughtfully evaluating future uses that align with member needs, wellness trends and the branch's long-term goals. We will share updates as those plans take shape.
