On Thursday, May 6, the National Day of Prayer, our YMCA will mark the day with a variety of virtual and socially distanced opportunities to pray together.
A.E. Finley YMCA
Join us for an outdoor, socially distanced program of fellowship, special music and a message at the back shelter (Cooler) from 8 - 9 a.m. Share our Facebook event to welcome others.
Alexander Family YMCA
Add your prayer request to our prayer banner in the lobby.
8 a.m.: Join us for Prayer Time on the front steps of the Y.
Noon: We're hosting a Prayer Walk from the front of the Y to the State Capital and back.
Contribute to our prayer boards at the Downtown Durham & Lakewood branches and join us at 9 a.m. on May 6 at the Downtown Durham YMCA for a brief prayer circle.
East Triangle YMCA
Add your prayer requests to our prayer posters in the front stairwell.
7:30 - 7:45 a.m.: Join us for Prayer Time on the front lawn of the Y.
Kerr Family YMCA
Highlight favorite verses in our Welcome Center bible, share prayer requests and pick up a prayer sheet with prompts for 5 a.m. - midnight.
Kraft Family YMCA
Add your prayer requests to our prayer posters in the lobby.
We'll have suggestions for self-guided prayer walks available in the lobby.
Northwest Cary YMCA
Prayer stations will be available throughout the facility where members are invited to pray.
Scripture and inspirational words will be posted throughout the facility.
Beginning Monday, May 3, members may post prayer requests and praises on a Prayer Wall.
A Prayer/Meditation Room will be available outside of the gym for anyone that would like a quiet place to reflect and pray.
Poole Family YMCA
All are invited for fellowship, prayer and music, followed by an optional prayer walk from the branch to White Deer Park. Activities begin at 8 a.m. on the soccer fields behind the Y. Learn more and share this opportunity with our Facebook event post.
Southeast Raleigh YMCA
6 - 7 p.m.: Join us for a Day of Prayer message and meditative walk. Our message will be presented by Dr. Dudley Flood. Meet at the Outdoor Chapel. Social Distancing will be in place.
Taylor Family YMCA
9 a.m. - Holy Yoga: Yin Yoga with Julie will be offered.
Noon: Join us for prayers around our flagpole at the Y.
5:30 p.m. - Holy Yoga: Flow Yoga with Rebecca will be offered.
Holy Yoga is an experiential worship created to deepen people's connection to Christ. Our sole purpose is to facilitate a Christ-honoring experience that offers an opportunity to believers and non-believers alike to authentically connect to God through His Word, worship, and wellness.
