Each quarter, the YMCA of the Triangle brings members together for Group Fit Fest, a high-energy celebration of group fitness featuring new class releases and themed events across our Association. Group Fit Fest is your chance to try something new, connect with others and reignite your fitness goals in a fun, supportive environment.

Summer 2026: Brighter Days Ahead

Group Fit Fest is back this summer with a vibrant, feel-good boost to your routine. Embrace the energy of the season with uplifting Les Mills release classes happening across the association, with each branch hosting on select weekends throughout July.

This is your moment to step into the light—reignite your motivation, celebrate your progress and lean into the power of a positive community. From high-energy workouts to themed classes that may include neon colors and creative ways to encourage one another, every experience is designed to help you grow stronger—physically and mentally.

Join us for an inspiring, supportive event that will leave you feeling confident, connected and ready to keep shining all summer long.

Group Fitness at the Y

Our YMCAs offer a wide variety of group fitness classes for almost every ability and interest.  You'll find low-impact and beginner classes, cardio fitness, dance, Pilates, cycle and Yoga and more advanced cycle, boot camp and kickboxing classes.

YMCA group fitness classes are for YMCA members and reservations are required for most classes. Members can make reservations through the website or with our YMCA Fitness App.

Our YMCA offers more than 100 different group fitness classes per week across our Association of 19 YMCAs. Most locations also have a Kid Zone area; on-site child care available for up to two-hours a day for YMCA members while you work out.
