Halloween Programs at the YMCA

It’s that time of year again—break out the pumpkins and ghosts, and celebrate the spookiest holiday with the YMCA! All events are family-friendly, safe for kids and packed with festive fun like costume contests, trunk-or-treats, crafts, games and more.

These Halloween celebrations are more than just spooky. They’re a chance to bring our community together, create lasting memories and enjoy the season in a safe, welcoming space for all. Click on each branch name for full event details.

YMCA Community Events

These events are free and open to the public, held outdoors at our local YMCAs. 

• Chatham Park YMCA - Trunk-or-Treat: Oct. 21, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
• Ingram Family YMCA Harvest Dash - Walk/Run in your costume at Kiwanis Family Park: Oct. 31, 9 - 11 a.m.
• Kerr Family YMCA - KERRnival: Oct. 21, 5 - 8 p.m. (Trunk or Treat 6 - 7:30 p.m.)
• Kraft Family YMCA - Trunk-or-Treat with pumpkin painting or carving: Oct. 31, 1 - 3 p.m.
• Northwest Cary YMCA - Trunk-or-Treat: Oct. 24, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
• Taylor Family YMCA - Monster Mash Party: Oct. 30, 6 - 7:30 p.m.

Member Events

These events are designated for members only. 

• Poole Family YMCA - Kid Zone Trick-or-Treating: Oct. 31, 10:30 - 11 a.m.
