Child Care While You Work Out

Kid Zone at YMCA

YMCA Kid Zone

Kid Zone is the YMCA's child care program for infants, toddlers and elementary school children. YMCA members can drop off their child while they work out, knowing their child is safe and well cared for.

Kid Zone FAQs

Yes! YMCA members who add their dependents to their membership are eligible for Kid Zone.

The child must be on an adult, young adult, or senior YMCA membership to be eligible for Kid Zone care.

Your child can stay in Kid Zone for up to two hours per day. You must remain on YMCA property while your child is in Kid Zone.

The YMCA of the Triangle is not the leading provider of summer day camp, after school and other child programs for nothing.

Based on their age, your child might play with stackable blocks, be gently rocked or sit for a story. Older children may have playground time (a few YMCAs have fenced-in, outdoor playgrounds), play dress-up, create arts and crafts, or play a board game with friends.

Yes. We hire Kid Zone staff, usually high school or college-age young adults, or older adults who love to rock babies.
