Day Camp For All

Camp Excel serves elementary and middle school students with age-appropriate programming that inspires learning, teamwork and responsibility. Campers participate in character-building activities, literacy instruction, sports and daily swim lessons that build confidence, skills and lifelong healthy habits.

Camp Excel is a summer day camp supported in part by generous donations to the YMCA Annual Campaign. It is offered at no cost to families and is for children who are currently enrolled in Y Learning and their siblings.

Each day, campers receive a nutritious meal and healthy snack to fuel their learning and play, while participating in character-building activities, literacy instruction, sports and daily swim lessons that promote confidence, skills and healthy habits.

Program offerings may vary by location and can include a Kindergarten Readiness Program, Sports Camp and a Career and Leadership Training (CILT) program for students in grades 9 and 10. Together, these options support academic growth, personal interests and leadership development throughout the summer.
