Excel After School
YMCA Excel After School is a program serving students in Kindergarten through grade 5 Monday through Friday afternoons from school dismissal until 6 p.m.
Excel After School expands the school day through active, purposeful play and a curriculum that enriches students’ learning while helping them grow in spirit, mind and body. Students will receive help with their homework and participate in daily lessons and activities that align with national education standards and YMCA leading practices. Activities will be centered around the pillars of STEM, Career-Constructed Learning, Arts and Crafts, Literacy, Education, and Diversity and Global Learning.
Before School
The YMCA Before School program is also held at this school. This program starts at 7 a.m. and dismisses at the first bell. Kids can eat breakfast from the school cafeteria, work on homework or simply relax and enjoy quiet time with their friends.
Registration
The YMCA offers two different ways to register for After School – by the year or by the week. Read more about how to choose between these two registration options. Both yearly and weekly options allow you to register for fewer than five days per week. Prices are adjusted based on the number of days. The cost per day increases when fewer than five days a week are chosen.

Our Staff
YMCA counselors are energetic and enjoy working with children. We train our counselors to be leaders and positive role models. Most are high school and college-aged students.
