Back to School Bash Events: Saturdays in August

It takes a village to prepare for a new school year. This August, the Southeast Raleigh YMCA is teaming up with community partners to host a series of back-to-school events featuring free school supplies, backpacks, haircuts, family resources and more. Bring the family, connect with local organizations and get everything you need for a strong start to the school year: 

Aug. 8: Change Ministries Supply Drive and Free Haircut Giveaway, 1-3 p.m.
Aug. 15: Silas Demary Jr. Foundation Second Annual Bash and Backpack Giveaway, featuring food trucks and more, 9 a.m. - noon
Aug. 22: El Pueblo and FaithAction International School Supply Giveaway, 1 - 4:30 p.m. Participants must have a FaithAction ID, be renewing an existing ID or be applying for one for the first time.
