Pickleball is a sport that uses elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis. Players use wooden paddles and a plastic ball with holes. The net is slightly modified and the court is smaller.
Members, ages 16 and older, may join in on pickup Pickleball.
Please check branch gym and court schedules on the website or in the YMCA Fitness app to confirm days and times. Members are welcome to play at any branch.
Outdoor Pickleball Courts
The YMCA has outdoor pickleball courts at the Taylor Family YMCA and the East Triangle YMCA.
Wristband Policy at Taylor Family YMCA
All members and guests are required to check in at the front desk in the main building or at the pool desk to receive a colored wristband to use our outdoor pickleball courts. Guests may purchase a day pass to receive a wristband and to use our courts. Staff will be enforcing the wristband policy.
Indoor Pickleball Courts
Many of our other YMCA locations use basketball courts or racquetball courts for indoor pickleball play. YMCA members can find times on our Gym schedules on the website or in the YMCA Fitness app. Players may be asked to put up and take down nets and other equipment.
