At the Y, we know that a fulfilled life starts with good mental and physical health. We partner with teens to help develop healthier habits for their spirit, mind and body. Through programs in sports and wellness, as well as opportunities to find a place they belong, we’re helping them become the best version of themselves.
Membership
Teens and young adults can join the YMCA and use the facilities. Learn more
The YMCA offers a Young Adult membership as well as Adult memberships where parents can add dependents up to age 23. A YMCA Young Adult membership is for ages 14 - 28.
Teens can workout on the wellness floor, use the track and/or indoor pools. They may also join a group fitness class (age dependent). We also offer small group training classes, for a fee, including teen-specific classes like Speed, Agility and Quickness and certain weight-lifting classes.
Once a teen has joined the YMCA, they are asked to complete a Teen Orientation.
Sports
Most YMCA team sports leagues go up to U15 including soccer and basketball. Most YMCAs also offer pick-up times for basketball and volleyball. Learn more
Our year-round, competitive swim team, YOTA, has programs up to age 18.
