We're so excited to welcome Caitlin Herrion to the Chatham YMCA as our branch executive director!
Caitlin officially joined the Chatham team in mid-September and is a seasoned Y leader who began her full-time career with the YMCA of the Triangle in 2012. She has led as a senior youth director at the Kerr Family YMCA and since 2017 has been an associate branch director of Y Guides and the Youth Development Department, where she also facilitated family engagement opportunities for the full association.
Prior to her full-time positions with the Y, Caitlin graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill and taught with Durham Public Schools. She also was part of the Chapel Hill - Carrboro YMCA's Camp Clearwater team.
Her wide range of experience is a wonderful fit for our growing branch and service to kids, adults and families.
I'm so excited to join the Chatham YMCA team and am loving getting to know our staff, volunteers, members, Chatham County and the community at large. We have a bright future as we look to serve our community even better and more broadly through the development of the new Chatham Park YMCA. I look forward to meeting even more of our community members in the weeks and months ahead. I couldn't be more thrilled to be joining the Chatham YMCA team during such an exciting time! -Caitlin
