Using Your Benefit

If you qualify for a gym benefit from one of the above organizations, you will need to use the links above to follow their instructions for qualifications.

Once qualified, you can come into any YMCA of the Triangle facility to join. As we often need additional documentation from your provider, you cannot join online.

Using HSA or FSA Dollars

If you have a health insurance plan with a Health Savings Account or you use a Flexible Savings Account, you may be able to use money from those accounts to pay for your YMCA membership!

Contact your primary care physician and see if your medical health history qualifies you for a Letter of Medical Necessity. If you do not have a primary care physician, you can reach out to Dr. B, a medical telehealth organization who can help determine if you qualify for a Letter of Medical Necessity.

If you qualify, submit your Letter of Medical Necessity and your YMCA membership receipts to your HSA or FSA plan administrator for reimbursement.

How do I get my YMCA membership receipt?

Log into your YMCA account and follow the prompts to download your YMCA membership receipts.
