YMCA Camp Sea Gull
YMCA Camp Sea Gull for boys and its sister camp, YMCA Camp Seafarer for girls, are overnight camps located on the coast of North Carolina. During the summer, Camp Sea Gull and Camp Seafarer serve more than 700 campers a week at each site. Combined with our staff, each camp makes up a welcoming and inclusive overnight camp community. Our camps are also large - more than 350 acres each - with prime coastal waterfront access.
Our unique location on one of widest parts of Neuse River makes a wonderful place for campers to learn sailing and powerboating, Our calm waters and gentle, steady winds mean campers from young to old can learn to sail in safety.
Camp Sea Gull and Camp Seafarer offer a variety of land and sea activities including sailing, powerboating, skiing, fishing, creative arts, archery, riflery, and more.
Summer Overnight Camp
With a premier sailing program, a vast array of land activities and the best counselors in the business, it's no wonder that Camp Sea Gull is the largest YMCA overnight camp on the East Coast. We offer 4-week, 2-week and 1-week sessions during the summer.

Each camper is a critical part of creating a place where people feel welcomed and valued. Campers learn skills and earn ranks every day on activities.
Activities
Camp creates a nurturing environment for campers to explore new activities and gain specialized skills in more than 20 Land and Sea activities. We view our programs not as an end to themselves, but as a tool to foster self-confidence, independence, teamwork, responsibility and perseverance.
