"CHYDC" is based at the main branch on MLK and offers a wide range of sports and competitions. They have a couple of Olympic-themed competition weeks. There are around 150 campers and 10 CILTs here each week. They spend some time inside in the gym and some time outside on the backfield and playground. They swim every day at the indoor pool.

The CILT program is a specialized leadership program for pre-teens/teens who want to develop leadership skills. CILTs will focus on listening to children, role modeling values, using positive discipline, teaching new skills, leading group games, and building respect. In addition to hands-on experience assisting with group huddles, CILTs will attend daily leadership trainings with the Teen Director or CILT Coordinator. The CILT program is available to rising 8th graders through 15-year-olds.

Campers are asked to bring a change of clothes, a swimsuit, a towel, lunch, two snacks, and a refillable water bottle. Most campers pack everything in a backpack.

You can find a specific packing list here.
