    -Mon., May 4, 6:30 - 8 p.m.

Please DO NOT WAIT TO REGISTER, as spots do fill up quickly! Applications and group interviews are not a pass/fail system unless the teen director deems that a participant is concerningly ill-equipped to participate in the CILT program as determined in the group interview process.

MMYDC is a smaller camp (100 kids) and very small CILT program (2-5 per session). It is based at the YMCA at Meadowmont which is the outdoor pool and clubhouse. Kids swim every day at the outdoor pool and they do a lot of crafts in the clubhouse and spend time outside on the field and playground as well. They bus to Clearwater to do camp activities twice per week. This is the first year we are running the CILT program at this camp.

The CILT program is a specialized leadership program for pre-teens/teens who want to develop leadership skills. CILTs will focus on listening to children, role modeling values, using positive discipline, teaching new skills, leading group games, and building respect. In addition to hands-on experience assisting with group huddles, CILTs will attend daily leadership trainings with the Teen Director or CILT Coordinator. The CILT program is available to rising 8th graders through 15-year-olds.

Campers are asked to bring a change of clothes, a swimsuit, a towel, lunch, two snacks, and a refillable water bottle. Most campers pack everything in a backpack.

You can find a specific packing list here.
