January 20, 2025 marks a day of service honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We invite you to answer the call to serve our neighbors and communities through volunteer and service opportunities at our YMCAs.
Additionally, our YMCA is a part of a weekend of events in support of the National Day of Racial Healing and MLK Day.

Hosting a toiletry drive and participating in local Peace Conference

Visit the Service Tree in the welcome center for ideas to give back
Kraft Family YMCA
Collecting and assembling soup kit donations for Holly Springs Food Cupboard and organizing highway and Community Garden cleanups.
Northwest Cary YMCA
Hosting a DEIB book drive and street clean up.
Poole Family YMCA
Assisting Aversboro Elementary staff with lunch duties and viewing the MLK Documentary at the NC Art Museum.
Southeast Raleigh YMCA
Assembling care packages and hosting an Advocacy Hour information and engagement session.
Taylor Family YMCA
Hosting a supply drive for The Carying Place and service opportunities in the garden, with Spruce and sorting donations. Join us to watch the Interfaith Prayer Breakfast in our lobby.
