Summer 2025

Our Camper in Leadership Training (CILT) program is designed to give teens an opportunity to develop leadership skills, serve as role models for younger campers, and give them time to hang out with their peers in an active, fun and safe environment.

Daily camp activities include team building, outings, service projects and special events.

For summer 2025, CILT Camp will be held in two-week sessions.

Location

Camp Explorer is held at Clayton Middle School.

At Camp, Character Matters

At YMCA Summer Day Camp, campers earn beads for exemplifying our five character traits: Honesty, Respect, Caring, Responsibility and Faith. Campers can earn beads daily by being a good friend, picking up after themselves or leading a camp prayer.
