At Camp Explorer, middle schoolers enjoy a summer of increased confidence, a structured environment with limited technology and lots of friends. Middle school campers spend the day swimming, creating crafts and art, playing sports like kickball, pickup basketball, and soccer and playing games like gaga ball and capture the flag.
They also have opportunities for team building, special guests and age-appropriate projects. Read more about a typical day at YMCA Day Camp.
Camp Explorer: Middle School is held at East Clayton Elementary School until Aug. 11. The last weeks of camp are held at Christ the King UMC (formerly Christ Community UMC) on Amelia Church Road.
