Camp Skyline: CILTs

Summer 2025

CILT stands for Campers in Leadership Training. Here at Camp Skyline, our teens get the fun, relational experience of camp as well as leadership skills for the future! CILTs are led by experienced staff members who serve as mentors and coaches for the summer. CILTs are involved in team-building activities, group outings and service projects. And, CILTs get to be leaders in our community of over 300 kids every week!

CILT Camp is open to teens in rising grades 9 - 10 looking for opportunities to serve and lead. 2025 CILT camp will run in two-week sessions most of the summer.

Location

Camp Skyline will be held at Wiley Elementary School for 2025.

CILT CAMP INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

  • CILTs will work in a huddle alongside a trained YMCA Camp Counselor.
  • They'll spend time with their peers in team building and leadership training led by a CILT Coordinator.
  • They'll participate in service projects.
  • Go on weekly trips, enjoy camp activities, and have tons of fun!

At Camp, Character Matters

At YMCA Summer Day Camp, campers earn beads for exemplifying our five character traits: Honesty, Respect, Caring, Responsibility and Faith. Campers can earn beads daily by being a good friend, picking up after themselves or leading a camp prayer.
